10 Simple Ways to Support FCS Every Day

Your support of our school helps to ensure a quality education for the students under our care. These are some easy things you can do to benefit Fredericksburg Christian Schools without spending extra money of your own. Encourage your family and friends to participate as well!

Campbell’s Labels for Education
This program is a way to add to our educational supplies and equipment in our classrooms. Each label you clip from Campbell’s products is worth a certain number of points towards new supplies. Watch for any Campbell’s product (like Pepperidge Farm, Franco American, Swanson, Prego, V8, etc.). Go to www.labelsforeducation.com for more information. Also see the attached flyer.

General Mills Box Tops for Education
This program earns money for FCS with each product label submitted. Look on General Mills product labels for the “Box Tops for Education” cut-out. Each is worth ten cents to FCS. Please familiarize yourself with the attached list of products.

Giant’s A+ Bonusbucks
If you do your grocery shopping at Giant, you can earn points for FCS that add up to dollars each month. You need a free Giant Bonus Card (available at all Giant stores) and must complete the A+ designation card (available at the store or at www.giantfood.com). This is a yearly program, so you must register your card every year.

Bloom
If you shop at Bloom grocery stores, you can earn cash for FCS when you spend $100 or more in a twelve-week period. You need to register for a free Bloom card and designate FCS at the store’s customer service desk. Rebate checks are sent to the school quarterly.

Target’s Take Charge of Education
This program is available to Target shoppers who have Target Visa, Target Credit Card, Target Check Card or Business Card accounts. If you designate FCS, Target will donate 1% of Target purchases and a half percent of all other Visa purchases to our school. Donations are distributed to FCS twice a year. Visit www.target.com/tcoe for more information.

Ukrops
The Golden Gift Program begins in March 2009. A percentage of the money you spend on groceries at Ukrops from February 4 throughout March 2009 can be earned for FCS when you use your free Ukrops card.

Food Lion
The Lion Shop and Share program allows a percentage of money spent at their stores to earn cash for FCS. You must register your free MVP card and designate FCS. Your card will track earnings as you use it and FCS will receive a quarterly donation.

Upromise
This program is a benefit to your child’s current school and their future education. You can sign up for this free account and earn percentages of purchases for college savings while earning money for FCS at the same time. Simply link your Upromise account to the FCS Upromise Schools Program account. No earning will be taken away from your college savings account, but FCS still gets money from each purchase! See www.upromise.com for more information.

Good Search
This is an internet search engine that allows you to designate a penny per search to the non-profit organization of your choice. FCS is on the list, so use this search engine operated by Yahoo! to do your research online. It costs you nothing, but FCS benefits for each search you do. You will find it at www.goodsearch.com.

Printer cartridges
Send your empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges to FCS. We recycle them and earn money for each one turned in. Just place them in a plastic bag and send them to the high school campus.
